Daelim has released the 125cc Besbi scooter Down Under, with Australia now following in the footsteps of Europe and parts of Asia by marketing the bike under its real moniker, rather than the Sachs Amici as it was previously known
The specifications remain the same, with the air-cooled machine tracking on 10-inch rubber, with a disc (front) and drum combination handling retardation.
Weight is 105kg and the seat height is 745mm. There’s analogue instrumentation, a chrome-plated headlight and an LED taillight assembly.
Price is $2190 for the classically styled scooter, compared to the Amici which was $2290. Colours are black, white, cream or red.
Meanwhile, the 2012 model Daelim VJF250 is now on sale as well, with the fuel-inje4cted machine only cosmetically different from its predecessor, courtesy of a redesigned rear end with LED brake light.
The 2012 model also comes equipped with grab bars and a new sticker kit, and is available in red or white.
