Custom bike: Ritmo Moto Guzzi V7
Built in one of Japan's more respected custom shops, this custom Moto Guzzi V7 displays an astonishing attention to detailThis alluring Moto Guzzi V7 custom comes not from an Italian workshop, but from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. Created by the Ritmo Sereno Euro Motorcycle Shop, the Italian bike started life as a Moto Guzzi Ambassador (a model not offered in Australia) and was stripped down and lovingly rebuilt to what to you see here.
Some of the more eye-catching changes the Moto Guzzi V7 underwent include a lovingly designed stainless exhaust system, Excel rims, plus an eye-catching leather solo seat. There's also a passenger pad that can be added (see photos).
Upgraded AP floating brake calipers work 300mm discs at the front end affording the bike improved deceleration, and according to its creators the V7 features hand-fabricated brake and gear linkages. The speedometer has been moved to the left of the fuel tank and in addition to various changes to the front end, there's also a neat LED brake light at the rear.
While the Moto Guzzi V7 custom looks the goods, there's been plenty of performance upgrades too, the 750cc V-twin engine breathing a little deeper thanks to the aforementioned stainless steel exhaust and uprated K&N airfilters.
Keihin CR carburetion, a five-speed Le Mans transmission and a lightened flywheel also contribute to more mumbo. If you like the look of it, you might be able to buy it from Ritmo Sereno.
