2018 Curtiss Motorcycles Warhawk

A $105,000 limited-edition model that spells the end of internal combustion engines for the company previously known as Confederate Motors

It’s one hell of a way to sign off on internal combustion engines for Curtiss Motorcycles. Introducing the limited-edition Warhawk, and it can be all yours for a princely sum $US105,000 ($A142,000).

The Alabama-based company, previously known as Confederate Motors, will produce just 36 units of the naked, 260kg Warhawk, powered by a hulking 2163cc air- and oil-cooled V-twin with two valves per cylinder and good for 150hp/217Nm. The company claims a top speed of 265kmh.

The motorcycles will be built on a pre-order basis. For more information, and whether the company will ship to Oz, click here.

Once the Warhawk orders have been satisfied, Curtiss will then commit all its resources into becoming a dedicated electric motorcycle company, with the recently announced Zeus its first production model slated for release in 2020.
