Triumph has added a more affordable 450cc motocross bike to its lineup, with the new TF 450-X now available in dealerships.
The 2026 Triumph TF 450-X follows the launch of the Ricky Carmichael–endorsed TF 450-RC earlier this year and arrives Down Under with a price tag of $15,790.
While Triumph never officially labelled the $16,995 TF 450-RC as a special edition, it was widely expected that a lower-spec, more affordable version would eventually surface.

The new TF 450-X loses the Carmichael graphics and some of the higher-spec components but benefits from several key upgrades for 2026. These include a new high-performance Exedy clutch hub, a Belleville clutch spring to improve durability and clutch action, new engine mounts, and an updated gearbox selector.
Despite its sharper price tag, the TF 450-X still carries premium componentry such as Brembo brakes, fully adjustable KYB suspension, ProTaper handlebars, and DID wheels. It also comes with an electronics package featuring launch control, traction control, a quickshifter, and selectable engine maps.
Unlike the RC version, however, the Wi-Fi module required for the smartphone tuning app is not fitted as standard.
Optional extras include the Wi-Fi module, an Akrapovic exhaust system, an XTrig holeshot device, an Athena launch control module, a performance gripper seat, and a replacement bodywork kit.
Triumph has also recently updated the TF 250-X for 2026 and launched its TF 250-E and TF 450-E enduro models. It remains unclear, however, whether the TF 450-RC will return for 2026 or remain a one-off launch edition.
