On Sunday January 30, Pro Motorcycles is holding a charity ride in order to raise money for the victims of the Queensland floods.
The large Queensland motorcycle dealer group has organised the ride to help give back to the flood ravaged state, and there are two meeting places for motorcyclist interested in both participating in a group ride, and helping out those in need.
On Sunday Januaru 30, riders can meet at 8.00am at Pro Honda, which is located at 1644 Ipswich Rd, Rocklea, and also at 4 Pike St in Kunda Park, both in Queensland.
Pro Motorcycles explains the two groups will then join up during the ride and then break for lunch to dig in to a free BBQ after the morning's ride to Esk (at the park in town).
If you want to help out but aren't interested in the ride, donations can be made on the day. Absolutely anyone can join in and show their support, but as the dealer group explained it is an open invitation to anyone who has been affected by the flooding "as a way to buoy their spirits and show them how much we all care."
It's for a great cause and at the end of the ride there will also be other activities including charity auction of various memorabilia items, such as signed, framed items and motorcycle accessories that have been donated.
Check out the Pro Motorcycles Facebook page in the days before the ride for confirmation of the ride details.
