CFMoto has unveiled its largest capacity motorcycle to date at the annual CIMAMotor show in Chongqing, China.
The CFMoto 1250TR-G was presented as a concept at the brand's booth, and is a civilian version of the CF1250J machine that will be used by various Chinese law enforcement agencies.

First touted in August, the CFMoto 1250TR-G is powered by the same 1278cc V-twin engine as the CF1250J. That engine is a heavily reconfigured version of KTM’s LC8 powerplant.
The company claims power figures of 140hp and 120Nm, and the bike also features a whopping 12.3-inch colour TFT screen.
While it’s unclear how close the concept presented at CIMAMotor will be to the final production version, it is obvious that CFMoto is targeting the grand touring market.
The bike is fitted with ample luggage capabilities, a pillion seat back-rest and a JBL audio system. It is also equipped with Brembo braking components – another fruit of its blossoming relationship with KTM.
It has been a big year for CFMoto, with the Chinese manufacturer already announcing a flurry of new models including the 300SR and the 700CL-X range.
The company entered a joint venture agreement with KTM in 2017 and that partnership is beginning to pay off immensely. As well as a brand new facility in Hangzhou, the joint venture is also set to produce a number of new models for both brands.
A recent leaked document showed evidence of a new 750cc platform that will be used in both KTM and CFMoto branded models. bikesales understands the first of these will be the CFMoto 800MT adventure tourer, which is expected in the first half of 2021.
