The latest promo video shows the new dual-sporter in off-road guise (there is also a more road-friendly version), complete with spoked rims, dirt-friendly tyres and plenty of protection. The video also confirms previously revealed information, with the 800MT set to feature keyless ignition, cruise control, Bosch cornering ABS, a bi-directional quick shifter, heated grips and a heated seat.
Other details features shown in the video include an aluminium sump guard, handguards, adjustable windscreen, a steering dampener, a centre stand, tubeless tyres with pressure monitoring, and exclusive N39° graphics.
Powering the 800MT is KTM’s 799cc LC8 parallel-twin which was most recently seen on the KTM 790 Adventure R – the 2019 bikesales Bike of the Year. According to the video, the donk will put out 70kW and 77Nm at 6500rpm – figures that fall below the KTM 790’s output.
CFMoto’s landmark deal with KTM is beginning to pay off, with the 800MT likely to be the Chinese firm’s most ambitious project yet.
