A front limited slip differential is helping tame the power and trim the turning circle of CFMoto’s newest quad machines, the X1000 EPS and U1000 Hunter EPS.
Both machines use a 1000cc V-twin engine with 71hp (53kW) and 74Nm.
The X1000 ATV rolls on 14-inch alloys wrapped with 27-inch CST tyres and comes standard with a dual seat, towing pack, front winch and two-year warranty.
The U1000 Hunter builds on the U1000 UTV already launched by CFMoto and adds a camouflage wrap, a 3500lb winch, A-arm guards to extra suspension protection and a bar kit including front bar, bonnet rack side and rear bars, plus a ROPS-certified cage.
The X1000 is priced at $12,990 out the door, with the U1000 Hunter $17,990.
CFMoto Australia director Michael Poynton says both machines are specified as standard with gear that is usually an option on rival products.
