CFMOTO adds new 800MT-X variant

The CFMOTO 800MT-X launched earlier this year, but now there is a new version

CFMOTO’s 800MT-X model is now available in a “low seat” variant with some key changes, ensuring accessibility for a wider variety of riders.

Priced from $14,990 ride away, the off-road friendly 800MT-X adventure tourer launched earlier this year and benefits from a KTM-built 799cc parallel-twin engine, dirt-ready suspension, and a range of electronics and rider aids.

It competes with the likes of the KTM 890 Adventure R, Husqvarna Norden 901 Expedition, Yamaha Tenere 700, Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro, and Aprilia Tuareg 660, and is designed to give punters a more dirt-capable option to the regular CFMOTO 800MT.

But riders who may have found the MT-X to be a little tall now have another option with the new LS (Low Seat) variant lowering the seat height from 870mm to 830mm.

To achieve the lower seat heigh, CFMOTO has revised the suspension components to ensure that ride quality is maintained. As a result, the suspension travel has been lowered to 190mm front and rear, while ground clearance is now 200mm.

The CFMOTO 800MT-X LS is now available for the same introductory price tag of $14,990 ride away and is also eligible for current promotional offers.
