CB400 and CBR600RR get tri-colours

And both are available in ABS, too

Honda has introduced tri-colour paint schemes on its CB400 LAMS-approved commuter and sharp-edged CBR600RR sportsbike.

The CBR600RR gets a new pearl sunbeam white tri-colour (white/red/blue) to add to the current black/red, black/silver and black/green designs. The tri-colour is only available in limited numbers.

The 2009 model CBR600RR features changes to the piston, cylinder head and muffler to increase torque between 8000-12,000 rpm. It's also available with Combined ABS. I've just tested a similar ABS system on the CBR1000RR, and it works a treat.

The tri colour CBR600RR is now available in very limited quantities.

Meanwhile, the CB400 nakedbike's tri-colours are red/white/black and blue/red/white.

The machine features an inline four-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled 400cc engine with electronic fuel injection and variable valve timing.

The tri-colour CB400 is also available in an ABS version.
