Harley-Davidson is calling on the motorcycle community to take part in The Todd Peisley Ride for CareFlight charity ride on Sunday, March 3 to raise funds for the aero-medical charity and commemorate Todd Piesley, former National Services Manager for Harley-Davidson Australia.
Organised by Todd’s wife Nicole and CareFlight, the ride will honour the memory of Todd, who tragically passed away last year in Bali just three days after his wedding despite the world-class medical attention he received from the CareFlight International Air Ambulance.
Harley-Davidson will lead a convoy of riders from Sydney Olympic Park in Homebush to Wiseman’s Ferry, where a bike meet will be hosted by WSFM breakfast presenter Brendan Jones. Refreshments, live entertainment and special merchandise will be available. Harley-Davidson will also be bringing the H-D1 Custom Shop, an interactive mobile showroom for genuine parts and accessories.
Celebrity riders, including the likes of Underbelly star Aaron Jeffery, will be firing up their Harleys to join the ride and show their support.
Harley-Davidson Australia & New Zealand Director of Marketing, Adam Wright said, “Todd contributed enormously to both Harley-Davidson and the wider motorcycling community. We are very proud to support this ride to honour Todd’s memory and raise funds for the critical service that CareFlight provides.”
Tickets for the ride are $25 per rider and $10 per passenger, with all proceeds going to CareFlight.
