Canadians launch V-trike

V-rod grows a wheel

Canadian firm Cirbin has begun selling these Harley V-rod powered trikes, called a V13R.

Running fibreglass bodywork over a steel space frame, the trike uses a V-rod powerplant claiming 125 horses, mated to the stocker’s 5-speed sequential shift with a reverse gear added.

The makers say the toy weighs 475 kilos and offer external sidebags for additional luggage space.

Controls are typical car pedals and wheel, while final drive is via a Gates belt.
