Can-Am Spyder recall

The ACCC has issued a product safety recall for 2013-spec Can-Am Spyder ST and RT Roadsters

The Australian Competition & Consumer Commission recently issued a product safety recall affecting all 2013-model-year Can-Am Spyder ST and RT series Roadsters.

According to BRP, Can-Am’s parent company, the affected models may be susceptible to a melting manifold inlet on the tandem master cylinder, which may cause brake fluid to leak. If the leaking fluid then comes into contact with a heat source, a fire may result.

Owners of the affected Spyder models are urged to contact an authorised Can-Am Spyder dealer to have the fault rectified at no customer expense. See your nearest Can-Am Spyder dealership for more information.
