Product recall: Can-Am Maverick X3

A product recall notice has been issued for Can-Am's Maverick X3 side-by-side

Certain serial numbers of Can-Am's 2017 Maverick X3 have been recalled, the manufacturer citing a steering issue that could potentially result in a locking of the steering mechanism.

The issue stems from a potentially inappropriate amount of grease being applied to the steering rack and pinion assembly at the time of manufacture.

Owners of the affected vehicles will be notified by Can-Am by mail. These owners should stop using their SSV and contact an authorised BRP Can-Am dealer to arrange for an inspection and rectification.
