It seems we may have been way off beam when we speculated that Buell's half-announced dirt bike might be a flat-trackerThe company sent out a remarkably coy media release saying it was getting into some form of off-road competition bike, without saying what type. Speculation around the globe now says the machine may be a motocrosser, based on a 450cc Rotax (BRP) powerplant.
