Buell launches street fighter

As promised with the launch of the 1125R, Buell is extending the range based on the Helicon engine, with the first example being this, the 1125CR.

Pitched at the streetfighter end of the market, the machine features the same lively 146 horsepower engine (which itself has some minor updates), but in this case the gearing has been lowered 8% for sharper acceleration.

Retail price will be $17,495 plus ORC.

Meanwhile numerous cosmetic updates have been added across the range, plus any 2009 bike now comes with two years of roadside assist.

Buell also says the XB range will now score the stronger drive belt developed for the 1125.
