Following Harley-Davidson's announcement in October 2009 that it would close its Buell operations, the company's last model has left the factory floor.
The last Buell motorcycle rolled off the production line at Buell's East Troy plant in Wisconsin in the USA, a Lightning XB12Scg.
The Wisconsin factory will now be prepped for closure after more than 136,000 motorcycles were built over a period of 26 years.
Buell issued a statement saying: "Parent Harley-Davidson announced on Oct. 15 that the Buell lineup of motorcycles would be discontinued effective Dec. 18, 2009. Buell motorcycles will continue to be sold through existing dealers until inventory is depleted."
