Iconic British-born brand BSA Motorcycles is making a return to Australian dealer floors, with industry veteran Jeff Leisk taking over importing and distribution.
Operating as Leisk Moto Imports (LMI), former pro motocross racer Leisk is excited to renew BSA’s presence Down Under.
“We are honoured to represent such an iconic heritage brand,” he said. “BSA has a proud history and an exciting future.”

BSA was born in 1861 as the Birmingham Small Arms Company and branched out into motorcycles in 1903. Its first motorcycle was launched in 1910.
The brand was prolific through much of the early 20th century and was instrumental in both World Wars. It then exploded in popularity through the 1960s.
Production stopped in 1970 due to financial issues, but the brand was resurrected in 2021 by Classic Legends, a subsidiary of India’s Mahindra Group.
Since its rebirth, BSA has launched three new models, with a fourth arriving this year. The range encompasses both 350cc and 650cc models, and all are LAMS-approved.
BSA is set to officially launch locally in mid-2026, and would-be buyers can register their interest at the brand’s Australian website.
