Brutale headlines 2020 MV Agusta range

Naked superbike replica packs 208hp and premium components

The return of the brutal Brutale 1000 naked superbike and a sexy Superveloce 800 top the changes to MV Agusta’s product line for 2020.

The Brutale 1000 Serie Oro boasts the best bits the Italian company can throw at their machine, from Brembo brakes to Marzocchi front forks.

A dry weight of 190kg and 208hp (153kW)/115Nm endow the Brutale with superbike performance.

MV Agusta has also committed to improving its parts delivery process this year – there’s nothing worse than having an exotic sportsbike you can’t ride because the parts aren’t available.

The 800cc Superveloce is based on the triple-cylindered F3 and will come in regular and Serie Oro versions; the latter including a hefty helping of carbon fibre and milled alloy components. Both bikes pack 150hp (108kW)/88Nm.

They’ll be joined in 2020 by the Dragster 800 RR SCS and Brutale 800 RR SCS – SCS standing for ‘Smart Clutch System’. Bikesales has just ridden the Turismo Veloce RC SCS on our Bike of the Year mega test, so standby for a full review on the innovative system.

In final news on the 2020 MV Agusta front, a Russo range will also appear in Brutale 800, Dragster 800 and Turismo Veloce 800 guises.

The Russo machines will all use the new bright red livery and come with quality components, despite packing a price that is less than the models they are derived from.
