American Mike Brown was a class above the opposition in round two of the 2015 InsureMyRide Australian Enduro-X Nationals at Sydney Dragway on Saturday, February 28.
Brown took his Husqvarna to 1-1-1 results for a maximum 75pt haul, ahead of KTM's Tye Simmonds (60pts) and Yamaha's Josh Green (58pts).
“It was a good day really, everything went smoothly and I couldn’t really have gone much better," Brown said. “I have gained a few points now so, that will make it easier for the next race."
Brown will now head back home for the opening round of the American Endurocross Championship this weekend, before returning back to Australia for the final Enduro-X round at Melbourne's Calder Park Raceway on Saturday March 14.
KTM's Dakar Rally hero Toby Price (52pts) was fourth overall, after he spent the weekend shuttling between Adelaide and Sydney as he was also competing in the stadium truck events at the Clipsal 500 V8 Supercar event.
After two rounds, Browns sits on a healthy 147pts from Green (118), Price (109), Simmonds (98) and Daniel Sanders (KTM, 97).
Meanwhile, Tayla Jones finished ahead of fellow Yamaha rider Jemma Wilson in the women's class at Sydney, with Sherco’s Jessica Gardiner rounding out the podium.
