Broadford Bike Bonanza back in Easter 2010
And no date clash with Barry Sheene FestivalAfter being held for the first time in 2009, the Broadford Bike Bonanza (BBB) will return to the Victorian Motorcycling Complex at Broadford in 2010.
The non-competitive celebration of motorcycling of all disciplines will again be sponsored by Honda Australia, and conducted over the Easter long weekend.
This date avoids a clash with the annual Barry Sheene Festival at Eastern Creek, which will be held two weeks’ later on April 11-12.
Both events were held at Easter this, leaving many historic racing devotees short changed.
Preparations are only at the embryonic stage for BBB, but there will again be activities form both on and off-road riders, making use of the complex’s full range of circuits.
Australia’s former world 250 GP champion Kel Carruthers was the special guest of honour at last year’s BBB, while Kork Ballington and Graeme Crosby were the marquee attendees at Eastern Creek.
