Brammo pulls in more bucks
The electric motorcycle company has secured another round of funding to accelerate production, which will include the new Empulse R sports bikeBrammo, thanks to major assistance from its strategic partner, Polaris Industries, has secured another $13 million in funding to accelerate production – which will include, presumably, a range of electric dirt bikes and the Empulse R sports bike, which is due for delivery in the third quarter of 2013.
“This $13 million round of financing puts Brammo on strong footing to continue to execute, deliver and expand distribution of our electric motorcycles to our customer pipeline,” said Craig Bramscher, CEO of Brammo. “This funding will ensure we continue to accelerate production to capitalize on the growing demand for electric motorcycles.”
