Boyle imperious in Melbourne Enduro-X
The Victorian saw off some stiff opposition --mostly KTM -- to win the annual event with a clean sweep of victories on his privateer HondaVictorian Peter Boyle (Honda) shut the gate on his rivals to dominate the 2013 Insure MyRide Melbourne Enduro-X crown at Calder Park Raceway on February 3.
Boyle won all three four-lap Pro races around the taxing circuit –a union of motocross, moto trials and enduro.
Motorex KTM duo Chris Hollis (2-3-4) and reigning Australian off-road champion Toby Price (6-2-3) were second and third in the 14-rider field – the latter fighting back from a massive crash in the opening race.
The winners in the other classes were Dylan Rees (Expert), Thomas Crutchfield (Clubman), Cameron Taylor (Over 35s), Kristie McKinnon (Women’s) and Tom Mason (Junior).
