BMW scooters recalled

Potential damage to front brake line affects 551 C600 and C650 machines

More than 550 BMW scooters have been recalled to fix a potentially damaged front brake line.

The notice from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission states that “Over time, the front brake hose may be damaged. This may result in loss of brake fluid through leakage from the brake hose. The motorcycle may lose front brake operation, increasing the risk of an accident and/or injury to the rider and other road users”.

BMW's C600 and C650 Sport and C650 GTs have been recalled to fix a potentially damaged front brake line.

The recall applies to C600 Sport, C650 Sport and C650 GT machines built between November 19, 2012 and April 5, 2019.
