BMW S 1000 RR available in early 2010
Production now cranking upThe road version of Troy Corser's BMW S1000RR world superbike machine should go on sale in Australia early next year.
The first example of the all-new in-line four-cylinder has just rolled off the assembly line in Berlin, with a dry weight of 183kg.
The S1000 RR will be available in the four finishes: Mineral Silver metallic, Acid Green metallic, Thunder Grey metallic; or -- based on the BMW Motorrad racing colours -- Alpine White/Lupine Blue/Magma Red.
Options on the bike will include a sports ABS, with four different modes, and traction control.
Australians interested in purchasing the S1000RR can register their interest in dealerships now (here). A retail price is yet to be determined.
