BMW has overhauled its R 18 cruiser for 2025 with more torque, a bigger rear wheel, and an array of styling changes.
The revised 1802cc Big Boxer engine is Euro 5+ compliant and features an increased torque figure of 163Nm at 3000rpm (up 5Nm). It is also capable of 67kW (91hp).
BMW has also added an 18-inch rear wheel to replace the previous 16-inch wheel, while a new single seat offers a new look and 10mm thicker padding. The front fender has also been redesigned, as have the silencers.
Moving through the range, the R 18 Classic gets a 19-inch front wheel (previously 16-inch) and a refined look, while the R 18 Roctane and R 18 B also get some aesthetic design updates and new paint options.
Additionally, the base R 18 and the R 18 Classic are available in “Blacked Out” variants, which include components in dark chrome or black gloss.
Pricing for the R 18 will start at $22,670 before on-road costs and go as high as $38,390 before on-road costs for the range-topping R 18 B Option 719.
