BMW Motorrad has announced an exclusive opportunity for customers and enthusiasts to gain a sneak preview of the brand's new six-cylinder BMW K 1600 GTL in Australia, ahead of its official international launch date.
The K 1600 GT and GTL sees the introduction of a six-cylinder power unit, developed and produced in-house by BMW Motorrad, producing 160hp (118kW) and maximum torque of 175Nm. Over 70 per cent of the maximum torque is available from 1500rpm.
There’s also BMW Motorrad Integral ABS and Dynamic Traction Control and Electronic Suspension Adjustment.
In another world first, the K 1600 offers optional adaptive headlights for increased safety at night in conjunction with the standard xenon headlamp and fibre optic rings.
