BMW Motorrad has set a $12,700 introductory price for its new single-cylinder BMW G 650 GS Sertão, which will go on sale in March 2012.
Complete with Aura White/Arroyo Blue livery, the G 650 GS Sertão will come standard with high windshield, engine guard, hand protectors, enlarged front mudguard, rear rack, heated grips and power socket. ABS brakes (switchable) can be optioned at $650, as can an alarm system for $505.
And compared to the G 650 GS donor bike ($11,990), there’s wire-spoked wheels, longer travel suspension and more ground clearance.
Special accessories include a top case.
"The BMW G 650 GS Sertão represents sensational value. The proven ability of the bike to tackle the toughest off road terrain or a twisting mountain road will make it a favourite for riders looking for a light weight Adventure bike,” said General Manager BMW Motorrad Australia and New Zealand, Tony Sesto. “It is also LAMS approved, which will further enhance its appeal.”
