Bimota returns with two new models

Bimota Motorcycles has returned to Australia shores with a little help from Kawasaki

Italian brand Bimota has been relaunched in Australia, with two new models now available to order through Procycles in NSW.

Distributed by Kawasaki Motors Australia, the new Bimota lineup consists of the Bimota Tesi H2 and the Bimota KB4.

Kawasaki Heavy Industries owns 49 per cent of Bimota, which was founded in 1973, and utilises its supply chain to manufacture Bimota models.

As a result, the Tesi H2 and KB4 are heavily based on the Kawasaki Ninja H2 and Ninja 1000 respectively, with some classic Italian design features added for good measure.

The Tesi H2 uses the Ninja H2’s supercharged 998cc inline four-cylinder engine and also features carbon fibre fairings, Brembo brakes, and advanced ABS. The KB4 meanwhile has a 1043cc inline four-cylinder engine borrowed from the Ninja 1000, and features Brembo brakes and Ohlins suspension.

Both the Bimota Tesi H2 and KB4 are priced as high-end, luxury machines, checking in at $85,000 (plus on-road costs) and $55,000 (plus on-road costs) respectively.

All Bimota motorcycles are made to order through Procycles, with the dealership confirming delivery times with customers.
