Bimmfest scores 30,000
BMW says its annual celebration of motorcycling was once again a great success.More than 30,000 owners and BMW Motorrad enthusiasts from around 40 countries rode into the picturesque town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen over the weekend of 7-9 July.
One of the highlights was the spectacular Streetbike Freestyle Show with Chris Pfeiffer, the new European Stunt Champion, riding on a new BMW F 800 S.
Among his tricks are no-hands wheelie circles with a 230° turnaround at the end.
The impressive off-road show on the "Hausberg" slope by Chris Pfeiffer and Simo Kirssi, the Finish BMW factory rider, on an HP2 Enduro also proved to be a real crowd puller.
