Bimmer sixer?
Now here's an interesting bit of speculation: German motorcycle magazine Motorrad has been tossing around the idea that BMW might have a go at a tourer with a difference – namely an inline six 1850cc monster.The rumour suggests the company might extend its existing K1200 four powerplant by a couple of cylinders to produce something that was not only very smooth but would have a ton of grunt.
Is this one just too outlandish to be true? Well, the company has pulled off a few suprises in recent times - such as the parallel twin 800 and a new range of singles, so maybe, just maybe, this one has legs. Certainly the company is overdue to replace its LT tourer…
