Bikesales nabs first 2013 Street Triple R!

It's the first MY13 Triumph Street Triple R to be registered in Australia after arriving from the UK, and the naked sports bike is in our basement
One lucky Bikesales staffer has today become the proud owner of the first 2013 model Triumph Street Triple R in the country. The Crystal White-coloured machine will be the subject of a feature article following the new bike purchase from crate to customisation.
Hinkley’s new 675cc naked was announced in October, with today’s delivery preceding the national press launch later this month. The 2013 Street Triple R receives a new aluminium five-piece frame, mild engine and gearbox revisions and a low-mounted exhaust. The colour scheme and graphics are slightly revised, as are the Street’s lightweight alloy wheels. Yes, the bike still has ‘those’ headlamps.
Minor geometry changes are said to better the Street’s turn-in and balance, though you’ll have to wait for the local launch in a few weeks for all the goss.
Full pricing and local specification will also be announced at the launch.
