Here’s one for all the Justin Bieber fans out there (c’mon – you know who you are)… The Canadian pop phenomenon has just celebrated his 19th birthday and his dad, Jeremy, came to the party in a big way by giving his son a personalised MV Agusta F3 675.
Apparently dad got in touch with the Canadian MV importer, Motovan Corporation, which in turn got in touch with MV Agusta’s President, Giovanni Castiglioni. Unsurprisingly, MV was thrilled to be a part of the teenager’s birthday celebrations.
The F3 was given a Batman theme by Canadian designer Lucent AC, the bike featuring matt-black paint and a variety of custom machined components sporting illuminated Batman and Bieber signatures. Batman, we’re told, is Bieber’s favourite superhero. Hey, even people who earn a reported US$55m in one year need role models!
Bieber’s father said he was thrilled with MV’s involvement in the gift. “I would like to thank MV Agusta and Motovan as it has been a pleasure to work with them on this very special project,” he said. “Their quick response for the delivery of this exclusive Italian motorcycle gave us the time needed to personalise the F3 675 into what it is,” he added.
The bike is on display for the first two weeks of March at a museum near Bieber’s home town of Kitchener, Ontario. It’s not yet known what affect a helmet will have on the pop idol’s signature bouffant-esque hairstyle…
