Big fast tourer from Kawasaki?
Kawasaki has started rumours it will be producing a ZZ-R1400-based tourer for 2007, by giving UK magazine Motorcycle News a copy of an early design study for the machine (pictured).Little is known about the bike at this stage, other than it will be replacing the now ancient GTR1000 and will be competing with the likes of BMW's GT version of the K1200 and is expected to run shaft drive.
The GTR1000 has been on the market with minimal change since 1986.
