Benelli BN 251 hits dealer floors

The single cylinder machine can be yours for $4990 rideaway

Benelli's BN 251 LAMS bike is now on sale Down Under, joining an
ever-growing number of bikes being released – or announced in recent
weeks – in the sub-500cc space.

Powering the BN 251 is a
fuel-injected liquid-cooled, single, developing 25hp (18.5kW) at 9000
rpm and 21.5Nm at 7500rpm. The steel trellis frame incorporates the
engine as a stressed member.

Braking is taken care of with Benelli's own 280mm front wave disc matched with a four-piston caliper.

The seat height is 795 mm and the kerb weight is 159kg. Fuel capacity is 17 litres.

Benelli
also offers a range of CNC machined accessories including foldable
clutch and brake levers and a brake oil reservoir cap, and there's a
variety of other parts such as crash knobs, handlebar mounts and heel
guards to further enhance the already sporty looks.

Offered in three colour combinations, red, white and black, the learner-approved BN 251 costs $4990 rideaway.
