While Victoria's capital is taking a hiatus from major motorcycle expos this year (the 2011 Australian Motorcycle Expo will be held in Sydney, over November 25-27), the southern state's bike enthusiasts can still get their fix of the latest and greatest on two wheels at the Bendigo Motorcycle Expo, which will be held in the inland regional centre over the weekend of March 19-20.
Held at the city's Prince Of Wales Showground, this second instalment of the event will showcase offerings from Yamaha, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki, along with representation from a number of scooter distributors plus a raft of gear from motorcycle clothing and accessories outlets. Other highlights will include a Show 'n' Shine, a swap meet, fashion parades, an electric motorcycle demo area and gravity-defying displays by Australian motorcycle stunt maestro, Lukey Luke.
Admission for adults is $10. Kids (up to 17) are in for $5.00 while concession tickets (proof required) are $8.00 Family tickets, for two adults and two children, cost $25. For more information visit the Bendigo Motorcycle Expo website.
