Kawasaki has given its Versys tourer an upgrade, with the new Versys 1100 coming to Australian shores in 2025.
Replacing the Versys 1000 that was introduced 2012, the new machine gets a bigger engine with increased performance that tops out at 133hp.
The new Versys 1100 also features an updated quickshifter and a full suite of IMU-enhanced electronics including multiple ride modes, cornering management, traction control and ‘intelligent’ ABS.
With touring comfort the primary purpose, the Versys 1100 also comes with a 21-litre fuel tank, adjustable windshield, electronic cruise control, comfortable seats for both rider and passenger, and a clean mount pannier system.
Long-travel suspension is designed to cope with rough tarmac, while the 17-inch wheels add a touch of sportiness to the bike. Also new for the 1100 model is a handlebar-mounted USB-C outlet.
Local pricing and availability is yet to be announced, but Kawasaki Motors Australia has confirmed the bike will be available Down Under.
