The Shannons Insurance Broadford Bike Bonanza was officially launched at the 2016 Australian Motorcycle Grand PrixThe 2017 Shannons Insurance Broadford Bike Bonanza will be held over the Easter weekend of April 15 to 16, and will once again be a leading light on the local vintage and classic bike scene.
Officially launched at last weekend’s 2016 Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (October 21-23), the event will see all manner of old hardware assembled for a non-competitive gallop around the circuit in question (be it road or off-road) and shown off before thousands of appreciative and likeminded others.
Next year’s event will see Rachelle Wilkinson take over from previous coordinator Peter Drakeford, with the organising team working collaboratively to celebrate ‘All Things Ducati’ and the ‘Romsey Grass Track Era’ in 2017.
