Baylisstic Scramble line-up

The five teams which will compete at the Moto Expo in Melbourne are in, captained by racing royalty: Bayliss, Vermeulen, Caslick, Crump and Gall
The rider line-up for the Moto Expo Baylisstic Scramble dirt track event has been announced, with some of Australia’s best road, dirt, speedway and motocross racers to test their wares at the Melbourne Showgrounds on the weekend of November 29-30.
The Baylisstic Scramble will be held on the main arena at midday on both days, with the event free for show goers.
The 20-rider line-up is divided into five four-man teams:
  • Troy Bayliss (C) (Three-time world superbike champion)    
  • Mick Kirkness (2013 Troy Bayliss Classic champion)
  • Marty McNamara (King of Nepean winner)
  • Josh Hook (Australian superbike racer)

  • Chris Vermeulen (C) (World Supersport Champion, Moto GP racer)
  • Troy Herfoss (AMA Supermoto champion, X-Games silver medallist)
  • Karl Muggeridge (World supersport champion)
  • Luke Gough (Five-time Australian long track champion)

  • Paul Caslick (C) (Nine-time Australian Champion)
  • Nick Dermatoss (Dirt track racer)
  • Grant Charnock (Long track racer)
  • Matt Davies  (World supersport competitor)

  • Jason Crump (C) (Three-time speedway world champion)
  • Luke Richards  (Australian dirt track star)
  • Josh Pickering (Multiple Australian dirt track titles)
  • Mason Campton (Australian and British speedway star)

  • Stephen Gall (C) (Four-time Mr Motocross champion, multiple Australian motocross champion)
  • Thomas Duggan (Teenage dirt track star)
  • Glenn Scott (Australian superbike racer)
  • Ian Hamilton (Australian dirt track racer)

“We have an incredible line-up of some of Australia’s most successful racers coming to Melbourne to contest the Motul Pirelli Baylisstic Scramble,” event organiser Troy Bayliss explained. “Paul Caslick’s team will be hard to beat given that they raced together and won the event in Brisbane.
“To get these racers together in one place is extremely rare. It doesn’t matter what category of racing you follow this really is an event not to be missed.”
The Baylisstic Scramble will also include an industry race featuring four-time Finke Desert winner Ben Grabham, trials rider Jack Field, EnduroX champion Chris Hollis, KTM stunt rider Lukey Luke, mini 50s stunt rider Mark Brown and journalist Paul Young.
Moto Expo will be held from November 28-30, and entry into the show also includes access to the Australian Motor Finance Head-2-Head EnduroCross. Other entertainment will include street bike stunts, mini moto, freestyle motocross, trials and more. ?
Free undercover motorcycle parking will be available within the showground’s for all visitors. ??
