Bargain basement ABS

Suzuki offers cheapest anti-lock

Suzuki has just started unpacking the ABS version of its new 1250S Bandit, and the big news is that it's put anti-lock technology within reach of a lot more buyers.

The machine is priced at just $12,490 plus ORC, comfortably making it the least expensive big ABS-equipped bike ever seen in the country.

Weighing in at 226kg (claimed), the machine has a grunter of a powerplant, with the spec sheet showing 96 horses at a relatively low 7500rpm and a healthy 108Nm of torque at just 3700rpm.
