Auto option for Husqvarna duo

Aftermarket kit lets Vitpilen and Svartpilen 401 riders stop and go without using clutch

Husqvarna Motorcycles has launched an aftermarket automatic clutch kit for its Vitpilen 401 and Svartpilen 401 learner-approved motorbikes.

The Rekluse-supplied clutch installs into the regular clutch housing and lets the rider bring the motorbike to a stop and take off without touching the clutch lever. Changing gears thereafter still requires traditional use of the left lever.

Husqvarna's Vitpilen 401 can be fitted with an auto clutch to stop and take off in-gar without using the clutch lever

Husqvarna says the kit provides “a more relaxed and controlled riding experience” by smoothing clutch engagement and improving traction in all conditions.

The kit is priced around $1800 plus fitment, though Husqvarna says this is a “quick and uncomplicated process”.
