Australian seventh in TdN

The 2012 Trial des Nations has been held in Switzerland, with the Australian men's and women's teams seventh and eight respectively
Australia finished seventh in the second-tier International Trophy division at the 2012 Trial des Nations, which was held in Moutier, Switzerland on September 29-30
The four riders – Tim Coleman, Kyle Middleton, Tom Scott and Boyd Willcocks – lost 73 penalty points in the competition, with the Czech Republic winning the International Trophy on 35pts ahead of Sweden (50) Germany (50), Belgium (63), Ireland (65) and America (69).
In the premier World Championship class, the powerful moto trials powerhouse Spain did it again, decimating the field with Adam Raga, reigning world champion Toni Bou (pictured), Albert Cabestany and Jeroni Fajardo all producing brilliant performances.
Spain finished on 43pts, spaning second-placed Great Britain to the tune of 98pts. Italy was third, ahead of France and Norway.
In the women’s competition, Australia was eighth, with Spain winning a tight one from Great Britain and France.
