Australian Institute of Sport camps

But you won't be boiling the billy and making damper at these gatherings – they have hard yakka written all over them

Motorcycling Australia (MA) is calling for expressions of interest from riders interested in attending high-performance programs throughout 2011.

The majority of these camps will be held at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) in Canberra.

The program is aimed at riders over the age of 15 who have achieved outstanding results in state and national championships.

The training camps incorporate fitness testing, physical training sessions and AIS lectures on general sports science (ie nutrition, sports psychology, physiology, strength and conditioning. etc)

Expression of interest forms can be found at www.ma.org.au/forms.
