Australia's 2013 MoN team
Brett Metcalfe, Dean Ferris and Todd Waters will represent Australia at the event in Germany on September 28-29Brett Metcalfe, Dean Ferris and Todd Waters will represent Australia at the 2013 Motocross of Nations (MoN) in Teutschenthal, Germany on the weekend of September 28-29.
Metcalfe, the 2013 Canadian motocross champion, will be Australia’s MX1 rider, with Ferris in MX2 and Waters the Mx3 pilot.
Ferris (pictured) recently became only the fourth Australian to win a world motocross round, and Waters is running second in the 2013 Australian Motocross Championship – 21pts behind Matt Moss -- with just one round remaining.
Australian icon Chad Reed was unavailable for MoN duties in 2013.
In 2012’s MoN Germany which reigned supreme, followed by Belgium and the USA. Team Australia rounded out the top 10.
