Australia has made a stunning start to the 2012 International Six-Day Enduro in Saxony Germany, with its World Trophy and Junior World Trophy teams second and third respectively.
In the World Trophy, Australia -- Glenn Kearney (Husqvarna, Daniel Milner (Yamaha), Christopher Hollis (KTM), Matthew Phillips (Yamaha), Josh Strang (KTM) and Toby Price (KTM) – is four minutes, 13.29 seconds (4:13.29) behind France, with defending champion Finland in third ahead of Spain, Italy and America. Just over eight minutes separate the first eight teams.
Milner, Strang and Price have been the most impressive Aussies. Milner is currently running sixth in the E1 class, the American-based Strang is fifth in E2 and Price – the dominant force in local racing this year – is second in E3, just four seconds behind Frenchman Christophe Nambotin.
