Aussies star in worldwide build-off

Aussie dealership makes top five in Ducati’s Custom Rumble, a world-wide dealer build-off decided by a public vote

Canberra Motorcycle Centre (CMC) has taken the
South Asia and Oceania honours in Ducati’s global Custom Rumble event, a
worldwide dealer build-off using public voting via social media to seek out the
most popular customised Ducati Scrambler.

Canberra Motorcycle Centre’s ‘Scramblegale’
received 698 likes via the Instagram-based contest to become one of just five
Custom Rumble finalists from 40 entries around the world. The finalists,
harking from Poland, Canada, Thailand, Bahrain and Australia will now travel to
Italy with their bike to face a panel of judges at this year’s World Ducati
Week event in Misano where the best looking bike will be announced.

The Canberra-based Ducati dealership used the
brand’s sporting heritage as inspiration for its Scramblegale, fitting forks,
wheels and bodywork from the Panigale onto the retro-styled naked bike.

“Thank you to everyone who voted,” Canberra Motorcycle
Centre said on its Facebook page. “Scramblegale is a finalist in the Custom
Rumble competition! Out of 40 contestants, we have ranked in the top five and
will compete to be the winner at World Ducati Week!”
