Aussies ride Harley in globe of death

The same crew to back-flip a Harley-Davidson has upped the ante

There's a bunch of blokes in Mildura (Vic) who have made international headlines – again – with an audacious stunt involving a Harley Davidson and a metallic sphere known as the "globe of death".

After recently claiming the world's first Harley-Davidson backflip, Quick-Fix Harley in Mildura has managed to ride an H-D Sportster around and around and even upside-down in the cheekily named globe of death.

The four-minute video below shows the whole shebang coming together, which includes a crucial safety check and warm-up phase: rolling burnouts in shorts and thongs (we presume the heavy duty four-pronged ones).

Ridden by Steve Butler, who says "It's just a matter of getting that first turn" after a couple of damaging trial runs, manages to successfully wind open the throttle of the Harley-Davidson Sportster in what is an incredibly cramped space. Other than Homer Simpson, this is the only other time we've seen it happen.

Enough with the words, check out the incredible footage.
