Aussie-owned petrol App

Has over 25,000 active users, and the information is also available on desktop

Recently we told you about a new crowdsourcing App launched in Australia (here), which has been adopted from a business model originating out of North America.

There's also a very similar operation owned and operated out of Australia, running under the Petrol Spy banner. Petrol Spy has a free App available across the iOS and Google Play platforms to help you locate the cheapest petrol prices in your neck of the woods.

Petrol Spy currently has over 25,000 active users, who contribute over 2500 price updates daily across all states and territories. The database, covering all grades of petrol, diesel and LPG from all the major retailers and independent operators, is updated in real time, and users can search reported petrol prices by map, postcode or suburb. There's also a chance to win a $25 fuel card every day.

Petrol Spy also features unleaded and E10 fuel price cycle graphs across all the capital cities.

Visit petrolspy.com.au for more information and to download the App.
