Aussie moto trials adds an indoor title
Perth to host inaugural eventThe inaugural Australian Moto Trials Indoor Championship will be held at Challenge Stadium in Perth on March 20, modelled on the structure of the popular world title.
The event will be limited to just eight riders, who will battle it out over six man-made sections to crown Australia's first indoor champion.
The starting list is yet to be announced, but should includes the likes of multiple Aussie outdoor champion Colin Zarczynski, Jake Whitaker, Neil Price, Kevin Zarczynski and Trevor Campbell.
VIP corporate packages are also available which include an entry pass, reserved seating, parking, gourmet food, beer, wine soft drinks, as well as a 'meet and greet' with the riders. Click on the following link for more information on ticketing options.
The inauguration of an Australian indoor title is certainly long overdue, with the equivalent world title commencing in 1993. The first Aussie outdoor moto trials title was held way back in 1965.
