AUS-X Open circuit to allow a shortcut!

But it's all in the name of entertainment

The 2015 AUS-X Open inside AllPhones Arena on November 28-29 will feature the world’s first ‘360fly by’ lane, which will act as a shortcut for riders to use just once throughout each of the main events.

The addition of the shortcut will add another element to the supercross action, creating uncertainty over who will actually win each main event given the multitude of passing opportunities.

The AUS-X Open course will also feature a 100-metre long tunnel, as well as freestyle motocross-style take-off ramps.

“Our aim from the get go with the AUS-X Open has been without a doubt, to change the game and offer a completely new and unique entertainment spectacle for fans," said event director Adam Bailey. "We know spectators are going to be truly stunned by what they see on both nights of racing and entertainment."

With Saturday's event completely sold-out, tickets are still available for the Sunday afternoon session here.
